When was Ewami born?

We launched in January 2015 after trials and feasibility studies done for a couple of years.

Meaning of Ewami?

“Ewa mi” means my beauty in Yoruba, the native language of the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria.

Are your products natural?

We are on a mission to always source potent ingredients across Africa to manufacture safe natural products that deliver tangible results, with specific purpose, concentrated and highly active resulting in products that work to improve both your skin and hair as well as total wellbeing.

Details on ingredients can be found on each product page in the SHOP.

Do your products expire?

The typical shelf life of our products is 6 to 12 months when stored appropriately.

All products have an open container logo on their label which indicates their peak potency period.

I reordered a product that I really love and I noticed that it seems to look or smell a little different, why is this?

Rest assured, our production uses best practice procedures to ensure quality control and consistency. Due to the live, bioactive, and dynamic nature of our fresh products, raw ingredients may slightly differ in color and consistency but this variation does not in any way affect effectiveness of our products.

Are your products safe for use during pregnancy?

All products are made with ingredients in concentrations that are considerably safe for pregnancy and lactation. If you have any particular concerns, we recommend speaking with your obstetrician for special care guidelines.
